I can't stop thinking about the significance of Darryl Smith III's case being unsolved for so long. It’s truly distressing that a young man could be taken from his family and community, and still, no one has been held accountable. I can't even begin to imagine what Tanisha and the rest of Darryl’s family are going through, having to face each day without answers or justice. It’s reminders like these that we need more awareness and action on gun violence, especially in communities that are disproportionately affected.
I’ve been following Detective Powell's updates and really hope that the reward offered encourages someone with information to come forward. It feels like there must be someone out there who knows something that could finally give Darryl's family some peace. We need to support the ongoing efforts and keep Darryl’s story alive. Has anyone heard of any community movements or vigils planned in his honor? I think coming together could keep the pressure on the investigation. My thoughts are with Darryl's loved ones as they continue their fight for justice.
Has anyone else been following the case of Darryl Smith III? I genuinely can't stop thinking about his mother, Tanisha, and everything she's been going through. It feels like time just hasn't moved forward since that tragic day. I read that she’s been really active in calling for more efforts to tackle gun violence—even reaching out to community leaders and local officials to support change. It must be unbelievably difficult for her to keep reliving that pain while pushing for justice and change.
If there’s anyone here from the Cleveland area, have there been any local events or awareness campaigns recently in support of Darryl? I’m not from there, but I’d love to support in any way I can. If anyone has any info on where we can direct donations or messages of support, please share. Hoping that new evidence surfaces soon and brings some much-needed answers and peace to Tanisha and her family.
I came across Darryl Smith III's case, and my heart goes out to his family, especially his mom, Tanisha. It's unimaginable what she's going through. I read that Detective Powell and Crime Stoppers are still actively seeking info from the public, and there's a reward involved, but it’s incredibly frustrating that there haven't been any arrests after all this time. It feels like the community has been left in limbo. Does anyone know if there have been any recent vigils or events held in his memory? Sometimes these gatherings not only honor the victim but also reignite public interest and potentially bring new leads. It’s clear that Darryl’s family and friends are desperately clinging to hope for justice. If anyone hears or knows anything, even the smallest detail, please reach out to the authorities. Darryl and his loved ones deserve answers.
