Hi everyone, I’ve been combing through the details of Eric Anderson’s case, and something stuck out to me about the lack of security footage. Living in Detroit, I know that not every home has security cameras, but the area near Salem Street and Pembroke seems like it could have had some form of surveillance, maybe even from nearby businesses or homes. I wonder if investigators checked for any footage from that day, especially from the street or neighboring houses. It’s puzzling because such footage could provide vital clues in identifying anything out of place around 3:15 p.m. when the gunshots were heard. I can’t imagine the pain Eric’s family is going through with no answers after all this time. If anyone has insight into whether surveillance was part of the investigation or why it possibly wasn’t mentioned, I’d love to hear your thoughts. Let’s keep talking about Eric’s case until his family has the peace they deserve.

I can't stop thinking about the cigarette Eric was having when he was attacked. It breaks my heart to know that such a mundane, everyday moment turned into something so tragic. I've read that he lived with his mom, and I just can’t imagine how she’s been coping since that day. For a parent to find their child like that... it’s unimaginable. I wonder if there's something about that time of day, around 3:15 p.m., that’s significant. Was it a time when neighbors were at work or maybe had just come home, making it riskier for the perpetrator? It's just so frustrating that even with the cash reward from Crime Stoppers, we still don’t have more leads or answers after all these years. If you're from the area or if you know people who were around back then, maybe someone saw something minor and didn't realize its importance. Even the smallest detail could make a huge difference. Please, if anyone knows anything, come forward for Eric and his family’s sake.

I just came across Eric Anderson's story, and it truly hits close to home for anyone with loved ones in Detroit. What bothers me most is the randomness of it all. He was simply enjoying a quiet moment outside his own home, and this senseless act snatched his life away. I can’t imagine the grief his mother is experiencing, having to live in the same house where such a tragedy occurred. It's infuriating how there seems to be no clear reason behind it, no justice for Eric after all these years. Does anyone know if there have been any new leads or if Crime Stoppers has received substantial tips lately? It's a shame the fear of retaliation stops people from coming forward. The community needs to feel safe enough to share what they know. My thoughts are with his family and friends, hoping for answers and peace someday.
