On December 5, 2012, Eric Anderson, a 47-year-old Detroit resident, was found dead on the front lawn of his home on Salem Street, near Pembroke, on Detroit’s east side. Eric lived at the residence with his mother, and at the time of the incident, he was reportedly outside on the front porch, smoking a cigarette and having a drink.
