I can't stop thinking about how someone like Gardner, who was practically family to Bobby and welcomed into their lives, ended up betraying him in such a horrible way. From what I've read, Bobby's parents treated Gardner like another son, which makes this betrayal even more painful for their family. I can't begin to imagine the trust issues the Farrells must be experiencing after having someone so close turn against them so violently. This makes me wonder how many red flags there might have been that went unnoticed. It's terrifying how you can think you know someone, but they harbor such dark intentions. My heart truly goes out to Bobby's family and friends who have to live with this reality. Bobby seemed like such a bright young man with so much ahead of him, and I hope justice brings some peace to his loved ones over time.
