I’ve been thinking a lot about the children who were involved in this terrible incident. It's unimaginable how such young lives can be affected by something so violent and senseless. I can't begin to comprehend the trauma they’ve faced, and I hope they are getting the support and care they need to heal both physically and emotionally. It’s incredibly disheartening to see how domestic violence situations can spiral out of control and affect others, especially innocent children. This case has really highlighted, for me, how crucial it is for communities to support and protect those in vulnerable situations before it escalates to this point. My heart goes out to Antoine's family and all those impacted—nobody should have to endure such a nightmare.
I can't stop thinking about the children involved in this tragedy. It's a haunting aspect of this case that Antoine's nephew and that innocent bystander girl were caught up in such a terrifying situation. I can't imagine the emotional and physical scars they have to deal with now. I truly hope they get all the support and love they need to heal from this horrendous ordeal.

The fact that a place as ordinary as a gas station became a crime scene and drastically changed their lives that day is chilling. We really need to have more conversations about protecting families and preventing such violence.
