I'm curious about the possibility of Mary having had health issues that could have influenced her disappearance. Someone told me that she'd been under some stress with family things, which can sometimes cause people to act out of character. Stress, combined with any underlying conditions, might affect someone's judgment or behavior. Did anyone close to Mary mention anything along these lines?

Has anyone looked into the area around Sleepy Creek? I know it's a bit of a drive from Gerrardstown, but it's a place Mary liked to visit from time to time, according to some folks familiar with her habits. There are quite a few remote trails and hidden spots out there, and I can't shake the feeling that maybe something more could be discovered if another search were organized in that direction. Even though it's been years, the terrain out there is rugged, and who knows what might have been overlooked or changed since the last thorough search. Anyone with connections to local search and rescue teams who might be able to revisit some of those areas? It might just be a shot in the dark, but I feel like every angle needs to be reconsidered until we find out what happened to Mary.
