I’ve been following Mitzi Gae Jones’ case for a while now, and something that strikes me is the timing around her being reported missing. It wasn’t until 2015 that her family formally reported her disappearance, which leaves a three-year gap. I’m curious if investigators have looked into whether Mitzi might have kept in touch with friends or acquaintances who might’ve been local, even if her family was far away. Maybe someone out there noticed something unusual during those years. It’s such a tough situation when loved ones aren’t nearby and communication isn’t constant. Anyone else have thoughts on how this timeframe might have impacted the investigation? Could those missing years hold clues we aren’t seeing?
