I've been thinking a lot about the location where Fidel Rios Corral was found. The 5700 Block of Cleveland Avenue doesn't exactly have the best reputation, but it makes me wonder if someone unfamiliar with the area was involved. Given the time of the shooting, around 4:49 a.m., it feels like something specific drew Fidel to that spot. I can't begin to imagine what his family is going through, waiting for answers while trying to pick up the pieces. It's so frustrating when it's clear that law enforcement is working hard, yet there's still no breakthrough. It just makes you realize how many pieces of this puzzle are still missing. Sending all my thoughts to his loved ones and hoping someone out there remembers even the smallest detail that could help the investigation.
Hey everyone, has anyone else been following the case of Fidel Rios Corral? I can’t stop thinking about his family and the pain they must be going through. I was reading through some old news articles, and it seems like they’re really struggling for leads. It's been over a year now, and no suspects? It’s frustrating how little progress there seems to be.
I live not too far from Cleveland Avenue, and it hits close to home. The fact that this could happen and still be unsolved makes me anxious for our community's safety. I wonder if there’s more that we, as a community, could be doing to support the investigation or spread awareness. Maybe pressuring local media a bit more could help?
