Does anyone else feel like we're missing something with Clifton Page's case? I was revisiting some old news articles and the more I read, the more I wonder about the witnesses or possible conversations that might have happened on the day of his murder. Detroit has definitely seen its share of violence, but every homicide has a context, people who might know something—friends, neighbors, someone who might have seen something even if they don't realize it's important. I keep thinking about his family, how frustrating it must be for them all these years later to have no answers. Maybe it's naive, but I hope with the push for community involvement, someone might feel compelled to come forward with new information, even after all this time. The page in Clifton's story shouldn't stay unfinished.
Hey everyone,
I've been going through some of the cases in Detroit, and Clifton Page’s story really struck a chord with me. It’s so disheartening to see a life cut short and to know that his family is still waiting for answers over a decade later. I was curious about how effective community presence and pressure can be in reopening cold cases like this.
From what I understand, the involvement of local residents and advocacy groups could play a pivotal role in pushing for resources and attention. Do any of you have insights or experiences with community-led efforts making a difference in cold case investigations? It seems like neighbors and local activists sometimes hold the key to reviving interest and uncovering new leads.
Sending strength to Clifton's family and hoping that there’s some progress soon. Every victim deserves justice, and every family deserves closure.
