Did anyone else notice the pattern of missing kids in Detroit around that time? While Van Riley’s case is the most talked about, I remember hearing about a couple of similar cases in the area back then. It's puzzling that after all these years, there's been so little information on Van's case. I wonder if anyone else has dug into similar incidents from the same period. Could there be a connection or a wider issue we haven't pieced together yet? If anyone has done more research or can point to resources on the overall situation in Detroit during that time, please share!
Hey everyone, I’ve been delving into Van Riley's case lately and something struck me as odd. It was reported that he might have been abducted by his father, but there’s remarkably little information available about the father’s background or any custody disputes. Has anyone come across any detailed reports or theories about his motivations or where he might have taken Van? Given it’s been over a decade, feels like uncovering more about the father's past might shed some light on possible hiding places or contacts that haven’t been explored yet. Thoughts? Any leads would be invaluable to revisit, considering how cold the trail has gone. Let's brainstorm and see if we can piece together anything from what little info we have!
I've been going through Van Riley's case, and I'm puzzled by the lack of public tips or leads. Missing since 2012 and suspected to be with his dad, it's strange that there have hardly been any sightings or at least concrete claims over the years. Has anyone heard if there were checks into his father's side of the family or if they might've gone off the grid somehow? It's haunting how a child can seemingly vanish without a trace. Let's hope someone who knows something comes forward soon.
