I've been following Nelson Conley Jr.'s case, and it troubles me deeply. The more I read about this tragic situation, the more I realize how much our communities are struggling with the impact of youth crime. I feel for Conley's family as they navigate their grief and the difficult process of understanding how this happened to someone so young. It’s particularly concerning how kids are getting dragged into car theft rings and dangerous activities. I keep wondering what could be done to intervene sooner and offer these kids an alternative path before tragedy strikes again. This case is a wake-up call for all of us in Columbus, and I hope it sparks real change. My heart goes out to Erin Conley and the entire family; holding onto love and memories seems like such a small comfort when a life is lost so needlessly.
