Has anyone else been following the investigation into De'Veal Smith's tragic murder in Akron? I've been thinking a lot about how this case shows just how important community support and vigilant neighbors can be in solving crimes like this. From what we've heard, there were a number of people in the neighborhood who heard the shots that day, and I can only imagine how scary that must have been for them.
Sometimes, it's the little details that someone didn't even realize they saw that can make all the difference in a case like this. I was thinking about the heartbreaking situation surrounding De'Veal Smith's death, and something that really stands out to me is how much he was giving back to his community. It just seems so unfair that someone who was doing so much good had his life cut short in such a violent way.
