It’s baffling how there have been zero credible sightings of Eric Watson Hunter or his 1997 Plymouth Voyager all these years. You’d think a van like that would at least catch someone’s attention, right? I wonder if there's a possibility that the vehicle was sold or abandoned somewhere far from Virginia Beach. Was it ever spotted on traffic cameras or anything like that after he was reported missing? I feel like tracking the van could potentially open up new leads, assuming it’s still out there. Does anyone have updates on searches conducted in the surrounding states or perhaps from databases tracking stolen vehicles? Every detail counts in cases like these!
Has anyone looked into whether Eric owned a cell phone around the time he went missing? It could be a crucial piece of the puzzle. These days, tracking a phone's last location or any calls/messages around that time might give some kind of lead. I know it’s been a long time, but maybe the records could still be available, or there might be something useful on social media accounts or emails, if he had any. I feel for his family having had no closure for so many years. If there are any digital footprints, perhaps they could point investigators in a new direction. What do others think?
