Hey everyone, I was just reading up on Nais McVay's case, and something that caught my attention is the impact this has had on his young son, who was in the car with him when he was shot. It's absolutely devastating to think about how this little boy witnessed such a traumatic event at such a tender age. I can't even begin to imagine what the family is going through, trying to support and care for him while dealing with their own grief. I feel like in situations like this, we often focus on finding justice for the victim (which is incredibly important), but it's also crucial to think about the long-term support needed for the family members left behind, especially the children. Does anyone know if there are any support systems or counselors involved, helping his son through this trauma? I really hope the community can come together to provide whatever assistance is needed. It's so important that the family gets all the help they need, both from an emotional and legal standpoint. Sending lots of love and strength to Nais' family and little son.
