I've been following the case of Jonathan Terrell Antron Jones and it's just so tragic. It shakes me to think about a little girl being caught in such violence. She's only three and already has had to endure something no child should ever experience. It’s horrifying to consider the psychological impact on her, not to mention the physical injuries. I hope she gets the help and support she will need to heal from this. The involvement of a black 2013 BMW seems like a crucial lead, yet it’s so frustrating to see the case still unsolved. How has there been no arrest yet? It’s as if these kinds of violent acts can just happen and then fade away without resolution. The community of Hamilton must be on edge, and understandably so. These kinds of crimes are just so senseless. I admire the ongoing efforts of local leaders and police committed to resolving this. I think it's essential for the community to band together and support each other during this time. That’s the only way to send a message that such violence is not acceptable and won’t be tolerated. My heart goes out to Jonathan’s family and to the family of that little girl. Justice cannot come soon enough.
