I’ve been following the case of John Edward Boyd, and one aspect that really struck me is his nickname, "Hoolie Pop." It seems like such a term of endearment, and I can't help but think of how names like these often capture the essence of a person's spirit—their humor, their energy, their role in a family or group. Reading about him being the life of the party and having that goofball humor makes me think that "Hoolie Pop" was probably a name that came with a lot of laughter and love. It’s just so incredibly sad to think about those six beautiful children growing up without the joy that he clearly brought into their lives. For someone so amazing to be taken away by violence is truly difficult to comprehend. I hope the family finds the strength they need in the memories and love he left behind. It's cases like this that make you wish for more kindness and peace in the world. Thoughts and prayers going out to all who knew and loved him.
