Mark William Cowardin, 51, was last seen June 10, 2013, in Fresno, California, and has not been located. He was driving a white 2001 Toyota Corolla that also has never been found. Authorities describe him as 6 feet 0 inches, 180 pounds, with chin-length dirty blonde hair, brown eyes, a star tattoo on his right hand and a scar near his left eye.

Health problems were a significant part of his situation: high blood pressure and heart issues that required medication. Before his disappearance he had been homeless after being mugged while working at a casino in Reno, Nevada, but had secured a subsidized apartment in Fresno about two years earlier and was trying to stabilize his health.

Officials have called the disappearance suspicious and the investigation remains open with no significant leads. If anyone knew Mark, saw the white 2001 Toyota Corolla, or has information about his whereabouts, please come forward.
