Has anyone else been looking into the capture of Horner? It's interesting how quickly the community rallied together to form a posse and capture him just three days after Deputy Nichols was killed. It's a testament to how deeply valued Nichols was in his community. It’s chilling to think about the tension in the air when Horner was held overnight in the Orange County jail due to worries about a potential rescue attempt by his friends. I can only imagine how raw emotions must have been during those days. It's a reminder of the devastating ripple effects such a senseless act of violence can have on an entire community. My thoughts are with Nichols' family and those who lived through this turmoil.
