I was digging into some old cases and stumbled across the disappearance of Jane Doe from Sonoita, AZ, back in 2013. I find it interesting how the small towns like Sonoita, with such tight-knit communities, can still have these mysteries unsolved. You'd think everyone knows everyone else's business. Does anyone recall if there were any significant events or gatherings in Sonoita around that time that might have drawn strangers into town? Maybe a festival or rodeo where someone might have noticed something unusual? Curious if anyone local remembers any chatter or news about it back then.

I was looking through the details of the Sonoita, AZ case from 7/3/13, and something keeps bugging me. Has anyone else noticed the lack of solid witness accounts? Sonoita's not a huge place, and given it was close to the 4th of July, you'd think more people would have been around to give statements. Were there any local events or unusual circumstances that day that might explain why there are so few reports? Wondering if there's something we might have missed in trying to piece this together. Any thoughts?
