I'm thinking a lot about the community in Union, North Carolina, and how they must have felt during those terrifying years when Scott Wilson Williams was at large. It must have been so frightening to know that someone like him was targeting women in their area. Can you imagine the fear and anxiety circulating among families and friends, wondering if their loved ones might be next? It's chilling to think about. I'm also struck by the resilience of Sharon House Pressley's friends and family. They’ve had to navigate such a complex emotional journey while grappling with her tragic loss. Their courage in facing the aftermath and supporting each other is truly admirable. I hope they’ve been able to find some form of peace over the years. Sharon, along with Christina Outz Parker and Sharon Tucker Stone, deserved so much better. It's crucial that we remember them and continue to support efforts that prevent such horrors from happening again. How has the community been doing since the case was closed? Have there been any memorials or events to honor the victims?
