I've been following Melvin Avent's case, and it’s gut-wrenching to hear about the pain his family has endured for all these years. I wanted to talk a little about the disturbing phone call Melvin had with his brother right before he was killed. It's chilling to think about Andre Avent witnessing such a harrowing moment through the phone, feeling completely helpless. My heart goes out to him and the entire Avent family, knowing a piece of crucial evidence was that last conversation. It's really frustrating to see cases like this go cold, especially with evidence that could potentially lead somewhere if given enough attention and resources. I hope the authorities can revisit those last words, "you don't have to do that to me," and dig deeper. It feels like there’s something in that exchange that could be key. Anyone have thoughts on how such leads could be handled better?
