Has anyone else been thinking about how Elizabeth Shannon was essentially a child when this all happened? I mean, 15 is so young to be involved in something so horrific. It's hard to imagine the kind of manipulation she might have faced from Joan. Being caught up in her mother's chaotic world had to have been overwhelming and terrifying. It makes you wonder what was happening behind closed doors in that household leading up to the murder. Elizabeth's life was completely derailed, and it's tragic to think about how a teenager got pulled into such a gruesome situation. Would love to hear others' thoughts on what kind of support systems were possibly lacking that might have contributed to this all spiraling out of control.
