Wow, the details of this case are just chilling. Poor Alejandro Ortiz, just going about his evening and then this brutal and senseless attack... it just doesn’t make any sense. I keep wondering why these criminals would target him. Was it really just random, or could there be more to this? The thought of those men rifling through his pockets while he lay there defenseless is just too disturbing to comprehend. My heart goes out to Alejandro’s family and friends as they try to make sense of this tragedy.
I also wanted to mention how crucial the role of any witnesses could be. Every little piece of information might help catch these guys. If you happened to be near the 300 block of West Base Line that night and saw something, even if it seems insignificant, please report it. Detective Glenn O’Neal could really use any leads we can give him. Alejandro deserves justice, and those responsible need to be found.

I’ve been closely following the Ortiz case and can’t stop thinking about the bystander who witnessed the assault. It must have been incredibly distressing to see something so violent and feel so helpless in that moment. I’m hoping they can provide more details that lead to justice for Mr. Ortiz. I can’t imagine what his family is going through, losing him in such a senseless way. These three men need to be found and held accountable. If anyone has more insights or updates, please share.
