Has anyone else been curious about the choice of locations for Johnie Teel's funeral and burial? I did some digging and found it interesting that Johnie, originally from Charlotte, NC, had his services in Mount Vernon, NY, and was buried in Rye, NY. I'm wondering if there's a family connection or something we're missing here. Does anyone have any info on whether he had family ties in New York, or could it have been something related to his personal history? It's tough to piece things together when there's so little information, but every little detail helps. My thoughts go out to Johnie's loved ones who might still be seeking closure.
