I was just reading up on Jonathan Schaff's case and wanted to bring something up that's been bugging me. His cell phone was found in a tractor-trailer near the Mettawee River, which is a good distance from where he was last seen on foot. I can't help but wonder how the phone ended up there. Did someone else leave it there, or did Jonathan hitch a ride and drop it unintentionally? It's such a peculiar detail, and I've been racking my brain trying to piece together how it might fit into the whole situation. The gap in time and distance between the Riverside Pub and where the phone eventually turned up is just baffling. Anyone else have thoughts on this?
I've been following Jonathan Schaff's case for a bit and something's really got me thinking. How did his phone end up in a tractor-trailer near Pawlet, Vermont? It's such an odd detail compared to the rest of the timeline. I always find it puzzling when personal items are found so far from where someone was last seen, especially in such a remote location. Could it have just been accidental, like he dropped it and someone picked it up later, or is there more to this? The fact that it was found days after his disappearance just adds to the mystery. Anyone else have thoughts on this?
