Has anyone else been following Sean Bert Gallagher's case? I just can't get over the tragedy of losing someone who was clearly valued by so many. What stands out to me is the nature of Sean’s character. It's like, here was a guy who was always ready to help others, and it's ultimately this willingness to lend a hand that placed him in harm's way. The fact that Sean went out of his way to help an old friend, despite whatever had happened years ago, says a lot about his forgiving nature. I read somewhere that he always offered wise counsel to his friends. It's so sad that the same qualities that made him such a good person contributed to this terrible event. I can only imagine how difficult this must be for his family and friends to deal with. Losing someone you love is always hard, but to have it happen in such a senseless way, I can't even wrap my head around it. My heart truly goes out to Heather and the kids. I hope they're surrounded by support and love right now. ?
