Has anyone else looked into the weather conditions in the Tonto Forest on February 13, 2014? I'm curious because it could provide some clues. If it was particularly cold or foggy, it might explain why Paul might've gone off course or why any search efforts right after he was reported missing weren't as productive. Considering the rugged terrain, visibility and temperature could have played significant roles. Does anyone have thoughts on this or know where to find historical weather reports for that area?

Does anyone have any insight on the weather conditions in Tonto National Forest around mid-February 2014? I’ve been trying to piece together what Paul might have faced out there, and I've read that unexpected weather can really throw off even experienced hikers. If anyone familiar with the area could chime in on what the weather was typically like back then, it might help us understand the conditions he was up against. Also, I know it's a stretch, but were there any reports of bad weather on or after the day Paul went missing? Sometimes these seemingly small details can really paint a picture.

Hi everyone, I'm really curious to know if anyone local to Young, AZ, has any insight or thoughts about the trails in the Tonto Forest during February. Were there any known hazards around 2014 that would make it particularly dangerous? I know Paul had plans to hike in that area after parking his car, and I'm wondering if weather conditions or trail maintenance might have played a role in his disappearance. Any info you might recall from around that time could be helpful. Thanks!
