I’ve been reading up on the tragic case of Treeshanda Smith and Anthony Moore, and it’s just so devastating for the family and especially their two young kids. As awful as it is to think about, I can’t help but wonder how they are coping with such a massive loss. They’ve lost both parents in such a traumatic way, and I really hope they have a solid support system around them, whether it’s extended family or close friends stepping up to help. This is such a difficult situation for young children, and community support can really make a difference in how they process this in the future. Anyone else have thoughts on how communities can better rally around kids in situations like this?
