Hi everyone, I’ve been following the case of Madonna Sadie Cox, and one thing that really has me concerned is the impact this tragedy has likely had on the people who were in the house that horrific day. Can you imagine the trauma they experienced? Hearing something so terrifying, fleeing for safety, and then having to make that heart-wrenching 911 call. It’s unimaginable the kind of emotional scars they might carry now. I sincerely hope these individuals are getting the support they need. I can only think how being witness to such a tragic event could be incredibly isolating and frightening. It makes you wonder if there are enough resources available for people in such situations, both immediately and for the long term. Does anyone know if Buncombe County or the surrounding areas have specific support groups or counseling for witnesses of violent crimes? It seems like providing avenues for healing is crucial, especially when such a close-knit community faces such trauma together.
