Has anyone else been following Bobby McWhorter's case? I recently read an article that mentioned his family keeps holding vigils every year on the anniversary of his death. It's been 10 years now, and I can't imagine the pain his loved ones must be going through. It’s reassuring to see the community support at these events, but it's equally frustrating to think about why these cases stay cold for so long. I know Detroit has struggled with resources, but you have to wonder if there’s more that can be done on the community’s side to help. Sending strength and hope to Bobby’s family as they continue to seek justice and closure.

Hey everyone, I came across Bobby McWhorter's case while browsing, and it's been on my mind. It's so frustrating to see another case go cold because of the typical barriers we’ve come to know: lack of clues, witnesses keeping silent, and a shortage of resources. I’ve been reading about how the city's Cold Case Unit is trying to make headway with programs aimed at gathering more community support and tips, but it seems like an uphill battle. I feel for Bobby's family—waiting nearly a decade with no answers must be so tough. It’s a grim reminder of how pervasive these issues are in Detroit. I'm curious if anyone knows more about new technologies or community initiatives that could possibly aid these investigations? It's clear we need something more to turn things around, not just for Bobby's case, but for the entire city. Any thoughts or insights would be appreciated.
