It's really tragic when we hear about cases like the one involving Kenny L. Smith Sr. and his son. I can't stop thinking about how isolated they seemed from their community. It's such a quiet cul-de-sac; you’d think neighbors would have a better sense of if something was awry. It’s a reminder that sometimes people can be struggling right next door, and we might never know until it’s too late. Maybe this could serve as a wake-up call for us to check in on our neighbors every so often, even if everything seems fine. Hoping the bereaved family finds some comfort during this difficult time.
