Has anyone else been thinking about the impact this case has had on the local community? I can't stop thinking about the chaos on North Duke Street after the incident. Having been around that area often, I know how close-knit that neighborhood is, and I can only imagine how unsettling it must have been for the residents there. Not only was there a tragic loss of life, but the power outage and roadway damage must have really shaken everyone up. While the focus has obviously been on finding justice for Haywood, I've been wondering about the other drivers and pedestrians who witnessed the incident or its aftermath. The fallout from such a traumatic event is not just limited to the direct victims. I hope there are resources to help those affected in dealing with any distress or trauma. Sending strength and support to everyone involved as they navigate this difficult time. Hopefully, someone out there knows something and will come forward to help bring some clarity to this ongoing investigation.
