Did anyone else find it odd that Dorothy’s boyfriend just left the campsite to go back to Aspen without alerting anyone immediately? I mean, I understand that maybe he thought she would come back on her own, but the idea of leaving the area without checking in with park rangers or anyone else kinda baffles me. Given her situation with no gear, it seems a little too nonchalant for my liking. I’m not suggesting any foul play here, but maybe something significant was missed in those crucial early hours. It's frustrating how these little details might seem insignificant at first but could potentially change how quickly someone could be found. What do you all think? Do you think more awareness in those first few hours could have made a difference?

Has anyone else been struck by the fact that Dorothy Jenkins didn't have any of her camping gear or supplies when she left for that walk? It's almost like she was planning to return quickly or maybe she was meeting someone nearby. I find it odd that she would walk out into the woods without being better prepared, especially given the remote area. This detail has made me wonder if she was lured away or if something else unexpected happened. Could she have gotten lost or disoriented somehow despite the lack of gear suggesting a brief walk? The remoteness of the area really makes you question what exactly happened during that time window.

Hey everyone, I've been following Dorothy Jenkins' case for a while, and one thing that's been on my mind is the timeline of events on the day she disappeared. It's mentioned that Dorothy went for a walk around 2 p.m. while her boyfriend was napping. Now, I'm curious about the time frame between when he woke up and when he decided to return to Aspen. Did he search the trail or nearby areas thoroughly during that period? It seems like there could be more clues around that time. I know there have been extensive searches since then, but I'm wondering if any new details emerged from interviews with people who might have been in the area that day. It feels like some small piece of information could still be out there that might connect the dots. Anyone else have thoughts on this aspect or know if there were any witnesses who possibly saw Dorothy before she went missing?
