I’ve been thinking about how parties, which are meant to be spaces for fun and socializing, turned into places of danger like what happened with Bryce. It's unsettling to think how quickly things can escalate to violence. My heart truly goes out to Bryce’s family and friends. I can’t even begin to imagine the pain they’re going through. It makes me wonder about personal accountability and the role of the community in these situations. Why do some people feel the need to bring weapons to a party? Are there things we as a community can do to change the culture and prevent these tragic moments? I’d love to hear thoughts on community-focused solutions or stories where interventions helped prevent violence—hoping we can learn and act before more lives are lost.
