Has anyone else been following the updates on the Hoggle case? I’ve been trying to wrap my head around Catherine's behavior leading up to her arrest. It’s truly baffling how someone could so precisely evade giving any straight answers for years. I read somewhere she’d change her story every time a family member asked — it's almost like there were multiple versions of events living in her mind. How do investigators even start piecing together facts when faced with such contradictions? It must be incredibly challenging for the family and authorities trying to pin down the truth in such a complex situation. I can't imagine the frustration on their end. Does anyone know how long these competency evaluations can continue before there's some kind of resolution?
Reading about Jacob and Sarah Hoggle's case always leaves me with so many questions about mental illness and the justice system. Catherine's schizophrenia obviously played a huge role, but I wonder how different things would be if there were more robust systems in place to manage such situations. Why didn't red flags go up sooner concerning her mental state, especially since she had access to her kids? It just highlights a crucial gap in how we handle mental health issues legally. Does anyone here have insight or experience with similar cases where mental illness led to such dire outcomes? It’s so frustrating seeing these precious kids still missing, and it just makes me think about what more could have been done to prevent this.
Hey everyone, I was going through the forums and I’ve been trying to wrap my mind around what was going on in Catherine Hoggle's mind when she disappeared after taking her kids. I mean, those moments when she was out there on her own are such a mystery. I've heard discussions about the inconsistencies in her answers before she left, but what really baffles me is what she could have been doing or planning during those days she was missing. What was running through her head? Anyone here have insights or thoughts on where she might have gone or who she could have been with? It's such a bizarre part of this whole case. Thoughts?
