Has anyone else noticed the differing accounts from witnesses at the Havelock Inn? It's confusing to piece together exactly what led to James Walter Godette Jr.'s tragic death. A few people mentioned hearing raised voices just before the shooting began but then others say they didn’t hear anything until the gunshots. I wonder if some key information is being missed or if there are people who haven't come forward yet. It just strikes me that there might be more to this altercation than what has been reported so far. My thoughts go out to James' family and friends during this incredibly tough time—they deserve to know the full truth about what happened that day.
