I've been thinking a lot about the location where Jessy Mendez Santiago's body was found. It's unsettling to hear it was in a clear-cut area off Memorial Industrial School Road. I used to drive through there all the time, and knowing something like this happened in such a familiar place is chilling. Does anyone else feel like certain locations become forever marked by tragedies like this? I can only imagine the anguish his family must be feeling, but it does make you think about how many places around us hold untold stories. I hope the community remains vigilant and offers any information they might have to help solve this case and prevent future violence. Sending all my thoughts to Jessy's loved ones as they wait for justice.
