Does anyone have more information on how the search and rescue operations were coordinated for Doug Shockley? It seems incredible that so many different agencies came together so quickly. I can't even imagine how overwhelming this must have been for his family, waiting for any news. I've read that search and rescue dog teams were involved, which must have been both hopeful and nerve-wracking. It’s touching to see such a community effort in the face of tragedy. My heart goes out to everyone who was affected by this. If anyone has insights on how these kinds of large-scale searches are typically managed, I’d love to hear them.
