Has anyone else been following the case of Aristeo Perez-Leura? I was reading about how his backpack and phone were found, but there hasn’t been much movement in the investigation. It's baffling to me that someone could vanish so completely, especially when some personal items have been located. I'm curious if anyone familiar with the Carrizo Springs area might have insight into the kind of terrain he was crossing. Could there be natural hazards or other factors that might have contributed to his disappearance? It seems like such a vast and unforgiving landscape. Any thoughts or theories on what might have happened or why there haven't been more substantial leads? It just feels like something might have been overlooked in the initial search efforts.
