I've been thinking a lot about the murder of Carson Junior Norton and the impact it's had on the community in Lumberton. One aspect that stands out to me is the location of the incident—Country Side Village. It's heart-wrenching to think about someone losing their life in what should have been the safety of their home environment. I've seen a few comments around with people who knew Carson mentioning how involved he was in church activities and how much he cared for his family, which makes the lack of a suspect or motive even more frustrating. What I'm really wondering about is if there were any security cameras around the area or nearby homes that might have captured something? It's 2016 we're talking about, not ages ago; you'd think there would be some footage floating around that could give folks a clue about what happened that tragic morning. For anyone local, do you remember any unusual happenings around the time of the incident? Or if anyone has tips they haven't shared yet, I would really urge them to please reach out to authorities. It's been so long, and I'm sure Carson's family deserves some peace and justice.
