I was visiting Benton a while back, and I remember this case about Ira Eugene Goff stuck with me. There was something off about the footage from Huck's convenience store. Does anyone else find it odd that Ira didn't take his vehicle that day? In such a small area, it seems strange to go on foot unless he planned to stay close or meet someone nearby. His attire suggests he might have been planning to be outdoors for a while – maybe he had arranged to go hunting or something similar? Or perhaps he was meeting someone who insisted on them being discreet? It puzzles me how little info has surfaced over nearly a decade. Anyone local here able to share any insights on this, or have there been any recent updates in the area's grapevine? It just feels like there's more to this story that isn't being talked about.
