Has anyone else been following the developments regarding the backlog of unsolved cases in Detroit? I can’t help but feel for the families like Michael Dotsey’s who are left in limbo, waiting for some kind of breakthrough that might never come. I read about the Cold Case Unit using advanced forensic techniques, which sounds promising, but with such a high number of cases, it's like finding a needle in a haystack. It’s overwhelming to think about the resources needed to catch up with these cases. Has there been any recent success stories from this unit? Maybe hearing about some positives might bring a bit of hope to those who are still waiting for answers.
