I’ve been thinking a lot about Kyri’s situation and the fact that he was getting those threatening texts before the shooting. Has anyone else looked into whether there’s a connection between those messages and the shell casings from a handgun and a shotgun found at the scene? It’s chilling to think that someone might have been planning this for a while. It’s just so hard to wrap my head around the fact that a young guy with so much potential, devoted to his sport and apparently loved by those around him, could have been targeted in such a violent way. I hope the investigators are digging deep into those threats and really looking into any patterns. My thoughts are with Kyri’s family and friends; I can’t imagine what they’re going through having to cope with not just his loss but the mystery surrounding it all.

It's really commendable that the school prioritized mental health by bringing in professionals to help students process their emotions. This kind of support can make all the difference for students trying to navigate the unthinkable reality of losing a friend.

Kyri deserved so much more out of life, and though I didn't know him personally, it's clear from the outpouring of love from his peers that he left a lasting impact.
