It's been nearly a decade since Banhart went missing, and I still can't wrap my mind around the fact that there's just no trace of him. I keep coming back to the part about the island being accessible only by air and water. You'd think with such controlled access, it'd be easier to narrow down possibilities, but here we are with almost nothing to go on. Given the rugged landscape and the water surrounding Ketchikan, I wonder if there's a chance he could've accidentally fallen in and his body hasn't been found due to the fast currents or tides. Does anyone know how thoroughly the surrounding waters have been searched over the years? Feels like there might be some crucial aspect of the terrain or water conditions that's been overlooked. Would love to hear any thoughts or theories on this.

I've been following Banhart's case, and something that really puzzles me is the role of the taxi driver. Ketchikan isn't a huge place, so I imagine whoever drove him that night might remember more details about his condition or where exactly he was dropped off. I understand if the driver was keeping quiet back then due to potential legal issues surrounding dropping off a drunk passenger, but maybe with some time having passed, they could provide extra details now that might help us piece together Banhart's movements that night. Anyone know if the driver was ever revisited by the police or if there were any public appeals for them to speak up? Honestly, it seems like revisiting folks who might have seen him that night could open up new leads. Just brainstorming here!

Hey everyone, I’ve been following the case of Banhart and recently came across something interesting. There are some locals who claim that the taxi driver who kicked him out wasn't the last person to see him. Supposedly, a few people saw him wandering near the docks later that night. This makes me wonder if it's possible that someone else might have seen or interacted with him after that. The fact that Ketchikan is island-bound complicates things, but it also means we have limited exit points. Could it be worth looking into these sightings more? Has anyone else heard about this? There could be some info out there that hasn't been fully explored. Just thinking out loud, but maybe even checking with local businesses or anyone working near the docks might bring some new details. Thoughts?
