I’ve been thinking a lot about Elaine Toby Mazzella’s family and the devastating impact this tragedy must have had on them. Losing three family members in such a horrific way is unimaginable. I read somewhere that the Mazzella family were well-known in their neighborhood and deeply involved in the community, which makes this even more of a loss. It makes me wonder how neighbors and friends cope with such a shocking event happening so close to home. I can't fathom the emotional toll on the community, especially those who knew and loved Elaine, Sandy, and Stephanie. How does a community begin to heal after something like this? Just sending all my thoughts to those who are grieving.
