Has anyone else been thinking about the role that the vacant property on Forest Brook Drive played in William Lee Locklear's case? It's so unsettling to think that such an empty, desolate place became the backdrop for this horrific event. If I'm not mistaken, abandoned or vacant areas often become spots where crimes are more likely to occur. It's just awful knowing that this tragedy happened in what should have been an unassuming location. I keep wondering if there was any particular reason the suspects chose that spot. Was there something about the location that made it seem appealing to them, or was it pure chance? My heart goes out to William's family. This was such a deeply unfair situation, and I truly hope they have found some peace as the case progresses. It's just a heavy reminder of the dangers that can lurk in places we might not even expect.
