I came across Winston Dallas's case recently, and it’s been on my mind a lot. It’s so disturbing to think that someone can be in the safety of their own home, only to have tragedy strike so suddenly. The idea of someone answering a knock at their door, probably thinking it’s a neighbor or friend, and then being met with such violence is incredibly frightening. I’ve been reading a lot about Detroit's cold case struggles, and it’s just so frustrating to see so many families left with unanswered questions. I really feel for Winston's loved ones who have had to live all these years without closure. It's such a difficult situation when witnesses might be afraid to come forward, and the police have their hands tied with limited resources. Has anyone heard if there have been any recent efforts or community initiatives to tackle these unsolved cases? Maybe there’s some sort of grassroots movement we could support to help bring attention back to Winston’s case? Every bit of awareness could be crucial in reaching someone who knows more than they’ve shared.
