I can't help but continually think about how this tragic event underscores the serious issue of gun violence across our campuses. As many have mentioned here, Alisia’s and Ahmad’s story is a reminder of how random and senseless these acts can be. My heart goes out to the families and friends of both victims. Alisia seemed to have such a bright future, with her computer science studies and love for dance, and it just shatters me to think about all the potential that's lost. It’s sad that places meant for growth and learning could harbor such danger. Do any campus safety measures seem to have changed after this incident? I wonder how universities are addressing such risks today, given how communities are still coming together to advocate for change and safety. Hoping those efforts are leading to real action. ?

Has anyone else been following the connection between gun violence and college campuses? Alisia Dieudonne's tragic death really hit home for me. I was reminded how unexpected and random violence can affect anyone, even when they're just in the wrong place at the wrong time. It’s painful to think of a bright young woman with a promising future, like Alisia, being taken from this world so senselessly. I didn’t know her personally, but reading about her accomplishments and passion for dance, it’s clear she had so much to offer. The ongoing support from the North Carolina A&T community is inspiring, but it’s also a stark reminder of how frequently we hear about gun-related incidents. Sending strength to her family and friends as they navigate this difficult journey. They shouldn't have to carry this burden alone.
