I've been following the case of Daric Tompkins, and it's upsetting how little coverage it received. It's truly distressing for his family and friends. It's been over nine years now, and while I know the Detroit Police Cold Case Unit is doing what they can, it must be so hard for those who loved him to not have answers. I've heard that organizations like Crime Stoppers and the Detroit Crime Commission play a vital role in these cases, but it seems like they need more public engagement. Every tip could be crucial. If anyone knows something, even if it seems minor, I hope they come forward. Families deserve answers and a chance to heal.
Hi everyone,
I’ve been following the case of Daric Tompkins, and it's so frustrating to see how little coverage it has received. I feel for his family and friends who must be going through so much pain not knowing what happened to him. It seems like the Detroit Cold Case Unit is doing what they can, but with so many unsolved cases, I wonder how they prioritize which ones to look at. Does anyone know more about how they make these decisions or if there's any way for family members to push for more attention on their loved one's case? It must be so tough to feel like your case is just a number. I hope with the help of Crime Stoppers and similar organizations, there will be some movement. If anyone has more information or insight on how these nonprofit collaborations are working, I'd be interested to hear it. We need more awareness and support for these forgotten cases.
Take care,
