I’ve been keeping an eye on the case of Carson David Christian Jr., and something that keeps coming back to my mind is the incredible dedication shown by the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s VCAT unit. Their quick action in apprehending Treymaine Delmar Johnson, the suspect, is commendable. In cases like these, where emotions run so high, it must be a huge relief to Carson’s family and friends to see such solid commitment from law enforcement. While nothing can make up for their loss, knowing that Treymaine was captured swiftly without incident might offer some comfort, at least in terms of justice being served. It’s a painful reminder of the pressing issue of gun violence that our community faces every day. Sending strength and love to all those impacted by this tragedy. If anyone has additional insights or thoughts, I think sharing them could really help in making sure Carson’s story is heard and remembered.
